好久不見。 " long time no see." is a common phrase used by acquaintances to greet each other when they haven't seen each other for a while.
和
When 和 is pronounced as 【he2】 【han4】 in Taiwan, it means "and" .
In the phrase 暖和 it is pronounced as 【huo】。
華氏
華氏refers to the Fehrenheit system, which is used in the United States。
攝氏refers to the Celsius system, which is used in Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and most of the rest of the world.
The Verb 刮
The verb 刮has two traditional forms:刮 and 颳。 in traditional forms,
颳風 【gua1 feng1】 = "blowing wind" can also be written as 刮風 【gua1 feng1】。
颳大風 【gua1 da4 feng1】a big wind is blowing.
刮破【gua1po4】to cut or hurt while shaving
刮鬍子【gua1 hu2zi1】to shave
刮掉【gua1diao4】to scrape off

就／快要了
Both 就要.....了and 快要.....了are patterns that are used to indicate that a certain action or event is about to happen.

Adj. + 極了
極了is an intensifier. It occurs after an adjective to indicate a very high degree of the adjective. For example,
熱極了！It's extremely hot!
冷極了！It is extremely cold!
我忙極了！I am extremely busy!
晚會好極了！The party went very well.
